Abinger Common Swimming Team
April 08
|
In April 6 children took part in the Dorking Schools Swimming Gala held at the Priory School in Dorking.
They all swam extremely well and enjoyed cheering on their team mates.
We were delighted to receive three medals and all children were given a ribbon for taking part.
Gold - Year 3 25m freestyle
Silver - Year 3 25m breast stroke
Bronze - Year 3 25m back stroke
Well done to all our team!

We belong to the Surrey Sports Partnership.
As a member of The Ashcombe family of schools our children have been able to access many sporting opportunities this year.

SKIPPING WORKSHOP
In July each class took part in a 'skipping workshop'. Everyone learnt new games and techniques, even the staff had a go!

Multisports Afternoon at The Priory School

10 children from Year 1 had a very enjoyable afternoon trying out their skills in golf, rugby and football.

SPORTS DAY
We were very lucky to have fine weather for our Sports Day on Friday 4th July.
The teams worked very well together and fun was had by all!
The Red Team finished triumphant!
